Typical Kaselytrade planning ranges
Sample development typically takes 7–15 working days after the specification and artwork are confirmed. Mass production is usually 25–40 working days after sample approval and deposit.
Stage 1: specification and quotation
Timing depends on how complete the brief is. Missing dimensions, undecided materials or unclear artwork can create more delay than manufacturing itself.
Stage 2: sample development
The first sample translates the document into a physical product. Complex character patterns, custom-dyed materials, special hardware or multi-part packaging may require more time.
Stage 3: buyer review and revisions
Set an internal review owner before the sample arrives. Consolidated feedback is faster and clearer than comments from multiple people at different times.
Stage 4: mass production
The production window begins after the sample, commercial terms and deposit are confirmed. Material procurement and the production schedule are included in planning.
Stage 5: inspection, packing and freight
Allow time for final checks, packing verification and shipment booking. Express, air and sea freight have very different transit windows.
How to protect a launch date
- Work backward from the required in-hand date, not the factory completion date.
- Include time for sample shipping and internal approval.
- Freeze artwork and packaging copy before production.
- Confirm destination-market testing needs at the start.
- Keep contingency time for revisions and freight changes.
